Stylish Gent

Stylish Gent is for men who want to be stylish, not fashionable. We prioritize clothing you can buy and wear over runway photos and art pieces. We want to be your curator, not your critic, so we keep our posts short.

the folks at Rapha have teamed up with Savile Row tailor Timothy Everest on a three-piece bespoke riding suit…[This] three-piece is available with plus-fours or standard trousers, and comes with pockets on the back of the waistcoat and jacket, fitted buttons on the front facings so your knees won’t catch, and an extended tail and sleeves (with a tiny zip pouch) for extra cover in the cold. The savviest element, though, is one you can’t see: the nanotechnology in the wool fibers. “It drops three degrees when you’re hot and rises three degrees when you’re cold,” says Everest, who then proceeded to pour water over some plaid and herringbone swatches. “It just rolls off like mercury.” The ceramic-coated fibers are dirt-resistant, too.
