Essentials: Leather Map Case
You can find these in any army surplus store. I have one in black leather with a flap that goes all the way down the front, and a similar one in brown vinyl.
The WWII German ones are the most ‘put-together’ (of course) (see image), but most militaries made bags like this out of a variety of materials. They are super versatile, working with anything from suits to jeans. Also, if you are constantly carrying CDs around for promo purposes like some people I know, you’ll be happy to know they are the perfect size.
